Default 10th offroad sudden influx of new cars

It's great to see that loads of new cars coming out in near future.

New losi 22 and 4wd

Team C TM4

Serpent 2wd

Hot bodies 4wd

Kyosho 4wd

Tamiya 4wd

X-ray 2wd

Sworkz 4wd

New schumacher 2wd or 2wd's

And possible rumours of new team associated 2wd

The market is looking good

Yes, the past couple of years have been fantastic for 1/10 off road - a real resurgence. I don't see a new Schuey 2wd until next year though, they have had their plate full recently with the MI5. The TLR 4WD looks very odd, simply because of it's apparent similarities with the XX-4 - the name for the prototype is XX-4 2.0 so i'm not holding out for anything groundbreaking.

If you was at the oople race this past weekend there was a new schumacher 2wd having its picture taken

New Schumacher? Mid or rear motor, or possible to do both? May explain why the SVR has seen a price drop. Are those pictures going to be published?

Then you know nothing about the XX4, since it came out in 1997, no 4wd car has passed it in terms of suspension design they've only passed it in strength of parts & transmission. Nothing goes over bumps quite like a XX4.

As good as Darren Bloomfield is, no 16-17 year old car should be making National A finals against modern cars, esp on the type of tracks we have now, high grip astro tracks weren't the norm in the 90's.

The problem for Losi is, since no body else has worked out what makes the old car so good, do they? After all Gil Losi jr isn't there anymore. Copying the geometry hasn't worked for others so far, so that leaves Witch Craft as the secret.

I would imagine a replacement for the SVR as it has dropped to £140ish; SV2 is holding its price.

I did sort of gather that but just wondered why when the SVR has only been out a short while and the SV2 a fair bit longer.
I do admire Schumacher for making separate cars for astro and dirt though, from what I gather when you produce a car that can do both mid and rear motor it can end up being a compromise between the two.

It'll be interesting to see what they've changed and improved.

the xx4 is a legend the americans keep going back to it for countless races over the xxx4,as previously said people have tried to copy it but not completely, the xx4 2.0 will be an amazing car they will have sorted all the issues to do with the design, drive train shock mounts wishbones etc...i believe this and the new hpi car will be the ones to watch when available,

Default new schuey 2wd

Yes I spotted it getting a little oople/jimmy mini vid/pic. all black and the 2wd twin of the all black and sexy K1, think it was stickered as KV or something. Looked pretty awesome....

I am sure the full specs and details will be out soon.

Wonder if the shell comes with a hole or not? hahahha....

Seriously it looked great!

By groundbreaking I meant new design. I know the XX-4 is brilliant, it's a good thing that it is based upon that car. And yes the new HB/HPI looks interesting too. We really are getting spoilt for choice!

So was there two different Schumacher prototype cars at the oOple race? One a new SVR and the other a K1/SV hybrid.

So many new 2wd's to choose from.

I'm quite happy with my Kyosho but still want to try them all, lol.

Some interesting designs out there.

Like going to a party with a super model with all her super model friends and wanting to try them all, haha.
Or being told to look at your feet because you cant.

In 4wd there's the new Yokomo due out at the end of October as well which will be my choice for next year.

I don't think we've ever been as spoilt for new cars.

I'm very tempted by the Yokomo B max 111,looks like a nice car. The other option is Durango v4(only if it is different from the v3!)
