Default Spektrum tranmitter & receiver problem

I have just brought spektrum dx2e and a secondhand sr3500 but can't get to bind together I have a green light on my tranmitter and the receiver is flashing orange all the time does anyone if they work together or do I need to get another receiver !! If I need another receiver want do I buy as need a mirco receiver as I have durango 410 not much room any help would be great!!

I assume you have used the bind plug in the correct bind port. You must place the receiver in bind mode first with rapid flashing lights then bind the transmitter

previous post is correct you must first get rx in to bind mode (rx light flashing quickly ) then get tx into bind mode rx light then should go solid

Hi I have put the transmitter in bind mode and put the bind plug in the receiver all the receiver does flashing orange I had binding for 5mins it not doing no think do you the receiver ??

Yeah a followed all that just make sure I was doing it right the orange light still flashing ??

Try moving the transmitter further away from the reciever while binding. Normally I get everything ready, switch the recover on until the light flashes quickly then hold the bind button down until it binds.

Still not working just tried my friends spektrum dx4c and the receiver bind up no problems so I'm going sale mine and buy dx4c thanks for your help !!

Are the DX2 and the SR3500 compatible? Both DSM, not one DSM and the other DSM2?

I think that the DX2 is DSM2 and the SR3500 is definitely DSM....

I have ask around and They are not compatible I was told buy the person who sold me the receiver was compatible to my tranmitter mattr they are not broken the tranmitter is brand new and the receiver works fine try it in a friends dx4c works fine

Dx2e is dsm and dsm2 compatible.
Sr3500 is dsm

Something isn't right.

Dx2e is even supplied with a dsm receiver (sr201)

What spektrum receiver mirco is compatible to a dx2e as the sr201 is to big to fit in my car as run a durango 410 !!

According to that Horizon Hobby link, the DX2e is compatible with all Spektrum receivers.....so the 3500 should work ok..! Also the DSM2 receivers 3520 and the Orange GR300..

Try binding the tx to the rx that came with it (the Sr201), also try binding it to your mates rx.
Should be able to isolate the problem part.

If it is the tx, send it back.
(The new rx is second hand isn't it?)
