Default L1 Rear on KC

Saw Trish trying this out at the TORCH National and I am going to do it this week but just wondered if others had tried it and what did they think?

I've ran it. It's mainly for lower grip as it narrows the width of the rear track.

Thanks for that info Allan. I will certainly give it a go when we finally get some rain.

I liked it, it's hard to explain but the car holds it's line better, feels grippier.

Maybe the next chassis for the 2wd will have the front hinge pin hanger holes at the same spacing as the L1 then we can use the same rear hinge pin hanger and get the width back.

Or just some offset rear hinge pin hangers? they could still bolt into the stock chassis locations

KC with L1 rear end to me feels more nimble and I'm able to drive it harder out of corners.

My son (team driver) tried it on indoor astro med grip, and prefers the std set up, just says its more consistant.

Made mine more planted, and increased rotation, but it's no longer available to buy
