Hi all,

I don't know what you think about, but I would suggest to not let make any parts for gearboxes for ZXS. Once everyone can make any ZXS it will decrease the value of the car both in price, dreams and collectionvalue.

If we go this path, we follow tamiya with all the rerelease's and the devaluation of all the collections out there.

Just my 2 cents, and something to think about.

I agree for this model, as I hate to say it but was only suited for dust and clay tracks and was awful on high grip.

However the ZX and ZXR I dont as this is what I set out to achieve so wecall could still buy the bits and enjoy these great cars like I did, flat out and on the edge. All flat bits through Fibrelyte, belts now via ebay, bodyshells Kamtec and ebay, 3d prints via Alcyon and others via Shapeways and the list goes on.

Yes for the ZX and ZXR it would be great
I would really like an affordable slipper system like the ZXR. Even the B4 system is a bit overpriced to race. And some affordable nylon arms

Does anybody what spurgears fit on the lazer ZXRR? I've seen several brands gone to 98T in 48dp so that would actually work. But don't know if the center hole and the screw holes fit...

RW Racing do a 100t b4 spur gear for me when using the alcyon layshaft and vts slipper clutch. Costs not too much but what you get is an extra lap or two and that is the truth.

Some pictures of a ZXR with option house on front and associated rear, Mike Dunns car, plus losi shocks on a few ZXS and thought id throw in a few more plus pay attention to the worlds A line up as two were losi drivers so had losi shocks on their cars. Question is can you guess the Kyosho team driver on his own as for some wouldnt think it possible ?

Iso, ive tested kick up plates for the zxr as your aware plus did a three piece chassis on a broken tub and it didnt agree with the ZXR design.

It made the car worse plus the flex in the plate made the gearbox crack, basically did exactly the same as the zxs, with exception the zxs materials were cheap crap.

Its the bearing that goes between the two pulleys, you can get away with a bearing instead of the thrust. Parts listed on the zx manual.

If that helps, the Schumacher U4185 98T Spur Gear + U3364 slipper pads is a direct fit for the ZXR slipper.
