Default Associated or Xray

Hi everyone

I'm looking at possibly changing my car as it's a couple of years old now. My question is should I stick with xray and either rebuild my 2015 XB4 buy a newer XB4 or move to the B64? I'm just after honest experiences on what you think to the B64 and is the car an easy car to setup and drive? Is there any reliability issues? The think that's making me sway towards the B64 is the cost of the spares compared to the Xray.

Thanks in advance rich

Hi rich
ive recently got the b64, have only ran it once so cant really comment on reliability but can say the build was good and it drives mint (am running build set up).

The XRAY is possibly/probably the slightly faster car, but if you can't/don't keep up on changing the dog bone pins in the driveshafts, it'll cost you ££££s in replacements.

I've had both & they're both very good.

Quick update on the b64..
Have now run a championship and have had no breakages, their is slight wear in the front arm pin cups but that is all, am still running kit set up but have added a bit of weight behind the motor and the car feels good, so not felt the need to change anything else. Iwould recommend this car to anyone thinking of buying one.
