When would you want to use this though? It shifts all the weight to the back but I thought you want the weight close to central in 4wd?

Probably missing something though.

I don't exactly know why they did it, and I'm curious about why you would convert it like this. All I know is that they look very buggy-like for a 4WD (the looks of it are like modern day version of converting an RC10, Rough Rider or other vintage 2WD to 4WD)

It'll make it easier to drive I'd have thought with less weight over the front compared to the standard car.

Wow, a little expense for a conversion, NO? What could be in it besides a chassis and a bracket or two. I thought it would be a little cheaper.

The first batch is arrived in France.
Very nice quality

Delivery with Motogo body (you can used DEX210 Jconcepts bodies or DEX210 Proline bulldog bodies too)

Awesome! Is the chassis plastic or milled aluminum? If it is plastic thats all you get for 299. Or is that MSRP? Interested in the kit but that seems expensive. Keep us posted on how it runs, and build pics. Thanks for the update......John

Why you would ever want to butcher your 410 with this kit is beyond me, the 410 needs none of this nonsense, especially for that price.

It would be nice if someone could get an English piece of documentation on why this chassis has been developed. I'm sure it's for more than just it's awesome looks - if everyone can read about the advantages of using this chassis I'm sure it will sell

Just my opinion, but i think the idea behind this conversion is two address two shortfalls of the standard durango, and that is its out-of-the-box weight (the car is like a tank), and its almost front biased weight balance.

Even considering the weight of this chassis, i think overall i'd imagine losing anywhere from 70-100 grams of weight off the kit durango weight, which would make a fairly big difference. Also the overall weight balance has been shifted back further which would also help the car.

However i can see some negatives too.

The diffs go round the other way so i'm not sure u can pull out the rear diff now without taking off the rear suspension block.
No cut lines on the body according to the instructions, damn thats gonna be a pain to cut out
Finally there's the question of legality, some racing institutions I dont think allow cars that dont fit standard size stick or saddle pack batteries, ROAR in the USA I believe is one ruling body like that.

Too much money for what you get IMO, personally I'd rather see someone stretch a 410 chassis about 10mm, turn the batteries round so they were like other 4wds, then either move the motor back or swap the centre bulkheads out to the ones on the short course truck so that u could use the centre diff in the car

I've been tempted to get a +15mm dex410 chassis made, it wouldn't bee too hard to stretch the back that much

Guys I was thinking about running this configuration in 2wd. Wanted to see how this chassis layout would work. Then maybe throw the front diff and axle in and try it 4wd. It's a spare car I have now so it would be a big problem. Just an expensive test. I think it is alot of money for what it is too.....I guess it depends on how cheap I want to be.
