Default Hobbywing XERUN V3.1 - Cooling Fan Question

Hi All

Just wired up my XERUN V3.1, all new to me as my last car had a servo controlled speed controller

Can someone confirm that its correct that that the cooling fan sat on top starts running as soon as you switch the car on ?

Many thanks as always, you guys and girls are helping me loads.

Lee

Hi

That’s fine, the fan should run constantly when the esc is switched on

Yes it's normal pal, some differ as they run at full speed all the time when the ESC is powered on, some ramp up the speed from power on gradually.

There may be some that actively alter the fan speed with temp but none of mine do.
