Default Almost Died!!!!!!

Hi Guys

Just had a driving lesson. I was driving along this small B Road going though a village speed limit was 40 mph driving along there was a junction i slowed a little but i have never driven along this road before and didnt realise there where traffic lights on this junction as one had been knocked by something so was facing the wrong way and the other was behind a branch of a tree. So plodding along knowone else on the road suddenly spot the traffic light on RED!!!!!! I look forward again and there is a wagon pulling out the junction I sat on everything!!!!!! Fortunatly i stopped. My driving instructor just spotted them when i did.

I now need to go change my underwear.

But theory test a week today.

A

Best thing my driving instructor taught me, and it has stuck ever since, always assume everyone else on the road is a complete moron. Works for me.

Agree, it's not your own driving you have to look out for, its other peoples.

So basically your "instructor" did not know where he was going, therefore could not instruct you properly

Yeah full race suit spine board everything. He looks like Rossi with his Rossi rep's on.

His Mate who was following him said that he was bent like a horse shoe around the lamp post. The air ambulance guy said it was his kit that saved him. As this was his first bloke he had come to who had a fight with a lamp post and lived.

They was only going through slow traffic on the bank holiday.

Agreed, I think your instructor should be brought up for that, if he'd have had a Driving Standards Agency assessor in the back seat he would have been in deep doo-doo.
