Vampire sr1 fan

Installed the said speedo today in my 4wd noticed that the fan just seems to move a tad back and forward abit?

Is this after use?

The sr1 speedo's initiate the fan when the speedo requires it, if it is not working at all then it could be a faulty fan. Which model do you have sr1 or sr1 + ?
