Cheers, thanks everyone for help with track, and starting races when it was my turn. Nice to have some sun.

Brilliant day. Thanks to Neil for organising and running and to all for making such an enjoyable day.
Sorry to anyone who suffered as a result of my son's marshalling

Ps - Amazing what the right choice of tyre can do...

It was a very good day.

Thanks again Chris for saving the day with those rear arms.

Not sure whether there was a comma before or after my name, but I certainly did enjoy it as my yoke just felt superb. Pins all the way for me from now on !! Thanks Paul.

Glad the arms got your car running Jim, and well done on a great final.

As I said, really good day all round, and even managed to get sons car fixed in relatively short order when I got in. Now, if I can just get him to stop driving at speed into fixed objects...

Your yoke looked great in your final Chris, you were driving well.
Pins work great. I got two meetings out of one set of blue pins. I ran yellows today, and were just starting to go off. I'll finish them off on practice night.

I ran blue pins too - the set I used all day have now done 2 full meetings - might push my luck and get a 3rd meeting out of them - unless someone is quicker then me, then i'll have to pull out a fresh set !

Might have to jump on the blue mini pin train, anything that gives grip and lasts longer than a club meeting sounds good to me

My yellow mini pins didn't last a full meeting. I'll try the blue's next time.

Mine did, but you practiced a lot.

My last heat and final were on new minipins and staggers, while the previous tyres were minispikes and cut staggers - all yellows.

The old tyres had done 2 indoor meetings at Manor on carpet and had done 1 1/2 meetings at Batley outdoor so you could say they were pretty worn.
Switching the new tyres took ~1s / lap off my fastest lap and ~2s off my average (I guess it also made me more consistent!!).
