fast car insurance?
Any recommendations on performance car insurers? LLoyds were rubbish and the quote from Adrian Flux was already 1200 quid cheaper (500 quid of that being the tracker that LLoyds insisted upon).
Apart from Flux I've not run anyone else yet - gonna do it on Saturday when I get some time as I've been busy. So - does anyone have some recommendations?

I know its not a mega performance car but I found Admiral good.
The were very good for a one off payment but crap if you wanted to pay by installments. The car is a Celica 190 VVTI and I added uprated alloys and exhaust as extras. Come to £430 Lot beeter than anyone else I could find. |

Brentacre served me well when I had my mk2 golf. They didn't pull my pants down too much when I told them there was a TT engine under the bonnet with 300bhp.
Now I drive a 5dr diesel (Slammed on 18's mk4 golf) I'm covered by priviledge |

Depending on your no claims, Privilege have been great for me on all my cars.....
I'm 27, 9 years NCB and pay £320 for the Megane Sport (225) and my Wife pays £290 for a Mk4 Golf GTi at 25. |

I sort out insurance for myself and the rents on the net, and sticking your details on www.moneysupermarket.com and www.confused.com never seems to fail.
Im insured on a CRX vtec for less then 500squids and im only 21 My mum got insured on a 1.6 Punto Mk2 for something like £130, and shes old.. but not that old lol Cant even remember who they're through but give the websites suggested a try. Ben |

LLoyds wouldn't touch a 'quick' car with zero no claims - even though I've already got a car with 9-10 years ncb with them! nuts. Never had an accident and have no points on my license. Oh and I'm 36 in a couple of weeks. I've seen a couple of specialist insurers on an enthusiast website - I guessed being specialist they might be MORE expensive but I guess that's not the case really.

Dunno if their is a mrs jimmy, but could you not have one car in her name, one in yours?
Obviously this argument is useless if there is none |

If Vicky has been named on your insurance you can transfer your full no claims discount to a 2nd vehicle in her name. We did this 5 years ago with AXA Insurance.
