Great, I've now got Setup v2. The firmware file downloads as "D010128.LSC" but the instructions refer to "D01012806.LSC". Is that right?

I have sorted it now chaps thanks for all the help. I think what had happened is I downloaded the wrong thing from the Losi site, I downloaded the first on the list this is where my problem was when I downloaded the last on the list it worked fine cheers again. Oh is it normal for the blue light to go off on the speedo(when conected to the usb) as it went off on mine after being on all the time when using the old softwear.

Hi all, really need some help with my combo. Just upgraded the software which seemed to go ok. I have teh acoms 2.4 GHZ wheel. I tried to calibrate it and all seemed to go ok, however whenever i try and reverse, the red light just comes on on the ESC. Forward is fine, i had chosen forward & reverse in setup, although i am now relying on the card as the usb adaptor has given up on me! I tried a spare 27mhz set i have, but still now joy. Any ideas?

Do reset to factory defaults on the software first, then setup.

Hi

Did all that, reset to factory defaults, then read the card then sent settings etc. Other problem is i now can't get into it via usb as the adaptor has broken, no lights come on and it just gets hot when i plug it into the usb cable! Luckily it is still under warranty, just tried my 27mhz again and the red light does come on too, when i choose reverse, but nothing happens. Did set it up again, but no joy .Have tried several times with the card to choose forward/reverse. really frustrating

Any other ideas?

That's the one.

Dunno, why not just try it? But from looking at it, I don't think they let you have more than 30%?

If you wade through the upgrade instuctions from losi, they mention that they recommend setting the brake percentage to 70-80% now and using the radio to trim it down. Its not entirely clear from what he says, but I think he's saying that by doing that, it makes it much quicker to control the brake amount by using the radio trim. Makes sense.
