Default Tamiya Ford Ranger SRB Resto

My recent restoration on an old Tamiya SRB. The Ranger was my first RC Car and I have finally got one back in the stable.

Before: -
Before 1 - Small.jpg

2 coats primer, 4 coats Peugeot Royal Blue (1200 wet and dry rub down between coats). Then T-cut and polish to finish.

After 1 - Small.jpg
After 2 - Small.jpg

That doesn't look the same truck.

Cracking job and applying the decals can be a bit bum twitching to get right.

Do you have any plans to the man.......

Thanks,

I'm a bit torn on what to do with the man. He's totally original so i'm wondering whether I should paint him or not?

It's going to be my shelf queen so eventual value doesn't really matter. I still like the authenticity of leaving him be. Decisions, decisions....
