Denis Farrell, John Dungan, Mick Bolger, Tony Kavanagh, Derek McCloskey and myself all have vintage cars, so something could be done

Worst thing I ever did was checking out RC10 talk....parts for an old RC10 make a Vega conversion look like a bargain

Yeah I know what you mean.think I had the guts of 6 rc10's at one stage.actually thinking about going back to original suspension set-up although that may just be laziness

In my head I had a complete RC10 worlds car just sitting in my garage at home waiting for me to just pick it up.....in reality the teenage Ray had thought it was a good idea to rip it apart when the B2 arrived in the post.....have found a lot of the bits including the stealth that has replaced the 6 gear in the Goldpan but have ripped the house apart and cant find the milled chassis etc
I have gone the full Dynotech route for suspension so I can run B4 wheels and tyres....no idea how it will handle but looks good

Have all the bits for the dynotech conversion myself.currently have the rear end done(need a front brace for the front end and to drill the nose braces.have run the car with the rear suspension and found the car didn't handle great, lots of understeer, but that could have been the fact I was still running the stock front end

I had an old RC10 GT with a blown engine that was handy for all the front bits. I was thinking about running saddle packs turned sideways and pushed as far forward as practical behind the servo to try and balance the car and get it to steer. The Dynotech cars handle well on dirt by all accounts but I have seen guys talking about under steer so they could handle like a dragster on our tracks

I used an rc10t I have for the front end but somehow managed to lose some of the bits

If we can get the RC10's running and hopefully with some other cars brought out to play it would be cool race day....the challenge is laid down from AE

Would be great to see pictures of what people have
In America they have the VONATS, rules are pretty loose around modifications to run some modern parts....the idea being to just get the cars running again for a race once a year.

Moved under its own power for the first time in 20 years yesterday....complete with dodgy early 90`s Turbo Mirage body that will have to do for now.
Trying out saddle packs moved forward in chassis as it steered like a dragster on the first test run with a stick pack down the middle!

Turbo Mirage was the body that Craig Drescher used to win the euros, so were very popular! Love it!
