Sorry guys, just a quick one, are some of you running Losi springs on the FS and if so, what are you having to do to get them on there, i have all the losi spring selection so if i can run them i'd rather use them until i start replacing, also do losi pistons work in the shocks at all?

Just run the losi bottom spring cups thats all you need to do to run losi springs, although on the front the greens and the blues are too long. No the pistons do not fit.

Is it possible to but the Associated spring set (with all the different rates) and use them on the Kyosho shocks? I reckon I need to change the spring cups aswell, but what about the length of the springs?

It's to bad Kyosho don't make a spring set for the RB5 and the ZX-5.

guys, hopefully someone can help...

I've got a few sets of kyosho springs, but it just seems that different people have differing opinions on the actual colour codes of the springs available.

Fronts, i've got what looks like orange, a lighter orange, yellow, silver and lime green

Rears - i've got green, lime green, yellow, blue (think they're the cobalt ones), lighter orange, silver, black

I'd be really grateful if someone could put them into order of stiffness, and/or tell me what each colour above actually attributes to in terms of what colour it's classed as. (Also, if i'm missing any worthwhile getting)

Cheers all,

Stanners

Did you read the whole post?

I'm sure you'll find your answers here:

Weight is how stiff they are, but Kyosho have different numeric settings for this. Ranging from about 45-80 or so...

I do believe that if you look in your manual, you'll find the colors and stiffness under "option parts available".

Hope this helps!

Here's a more complete chart:

http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/Univ...pringChart.htm

As for the blue vs cobalt

Blue are a navy blue and you can't miss it. cobalt are more of a purple than a blue shade.
