Once we can get the layshaft pullies correct then the diff gears will be next and the ones I will be testing are a different design and super smooth diffs making it easier to work on compared to the gritty diff design in the standard kit

LA118 is a harder material where as UMW305 is a much lighter material. I use one of the lighter ones but the problem is if you over tighten the screw threads you wreck it as you kill the threads.

Ive kindof worked out why they have five parts (not four) as its supposed to give strength, and in some instances the brace on the top of the gearbox (the item that slots into the top of the top sections) is rigid and increases the front end strength but the weakness lies in the bottom two parts of the gear box as they have been milled out in the original molding so has basically taken the strength away from the sides. In fact the same for the top two sections but I have not broken as many of those so are good enough as they are. Also the rear gearbox is perfect as it is but I will before the Petit event have new gearbox bits for the bottom (still working on them) and top as well as the rear. These have the milled out areas filled in aiding in strength, as well as the front bottom gearbox end bits being reinforced as if the plate flexes the square screw hole sections snap off.

The kick up plate I may be able to locate one for you but its not going to be cheap. I understand that there is a new one unopened somewhere in Japan and I an currently trying to persuade the chap in question to part with it so will update you when I get him to say yes.

The other alternative is to make a plate, as long as you have the original and is bent just hammer it flat (except for the kick up part) and get an alloy specialist to make one for you. I would seriously think about using steel instead of alloy if you can.

Well I answered your question about the ZXS but as soon as I did you edited it. Still info is there for you. Hope this helps you out.

The slipper parts are both metal but I think one is alloy (the normal one) and the other is a much lighter alloy (whatever the metal was called - Yokomo used it on the YZ10 for the motor mount)

Yes it has arrived. Thanks very much!!! Much appreciated :-)

white la1 is a work in progress, dont forget my cars a prototype so has a few items that were pre production like the diff parts. Once im truely happy with the la11 molds we will make the diffs. On my diffs there are more balls than on the standard one and makes it super smooth and much more free. We will update very soon, possibly next week.

Team atlas made white diffs in very small quantities and is very similar to the one we will make so possibly one of them however i think what you may have is wasp out drives and diff pulley. Not certain on the part numbers but post a picture of these so i cant give a definate answer.

Mine are TOP diffs from integy with delrin (m60) out drives.

They look like these.

I just thought that kyosho made white diffpulleys also since it is possible to order white outdrives from kyosho.

I have seen the touring car that they come from but are I think different size. The GP10 are the only ones I know that fit,but if you have any ideas I will give them a shot, and yes the white delrin bits for the UJs are for touring cars, and would'nt be good for a buggy, heck I break the metal ones so wont be up for the abuse.

These are what mine look likes.

I have metal outdrives also since i just bought these for the cool white pullys .

These 4 diffs actually costed more then the 4 LAW12 ( actually like 5 )when they where new but i got them cheap so i took em all.

I just wait for my body to get painted so i can have a test drive before the snow gets here.

This is my first post here! And I'm probably asking a lot as well. But I'm in desperate need of the LAW-12 slipper clutch! Can anyone help me?
