These are only prototypes. They haven't been fitted. So, there may be revisions to them.

as for the price, it really depends on the demand. For example i tried to get people involve with the cf bumper. But there are only 6-7 people who wants them, so it is very difficult to say how much I will make.

Awesome work!
More like ZX / ZXR as these parts are for that. The drive as you know me by now is due to us wanting to see a finished product, and a new improved car.

Deeper slot on either side so the pad fits flush and the hole is smaller and has a lump either side. Other alternative is to buy an alternative bushing for my spur design but think the layshaft may be better off with the B4 100t spur as there is no metal bushing wearing it out if your running a loose slipper.

Oh.. I based my layshaft design on your spur gear design and the B4 layshaft. Replacing the middle ball bearing with a 5/16" x 3/16" works like a charm. The B4 layshaft have a 3/16 diameter and your spur gear hole is a 8mm diameter. 5/16" is 7.9 something something millimeter. As I said before, works like a charm.

OK great. the difference is minimal and as long as the two pads work I have no issue using whatever to get a good slipper.

Ok testing has been done today. First problem

1. Spur gear is too close to the gear cover and rubs against it which kills the spur. Solution is move the slipper clutch further inwards towards the motor plate thus avoiding the gear cover contact.

2. I had the slipper tightend as much as it would physically go and it was still slipping so its almost perfect but would like to be able to set it tighter still. Solution ???

Overall its almost there, i had the quickest car there and drove it like i stole it and the gearbox took the strain and the belts are unscathed so great, its possible to shorten the screw section by the slipper by 2.5mm so making the layshaft a bit shorter. I did kill two spurs but may be down to movement of the motor but think its down to slipping. Will change the motor and pinion and test again in two weeks time.

That can be done the next time, for now could you try to remove a shim for the spur side if you placed some in?

2. I had the slipper tightend as much as it would physically go and it was still slipping so its almost perfect but would like to be able to set it tighter still. Solution ??? Thats rather odd. The slipper on my optima mid can be tightened very tightly till the gears growl. its the same design as the B4 slipper so...

Yes, i can shorten the end by 2.5mm but ithink that is too much, 1.5mm is more reasonable. you killed the spurs at the pad area or the tooth?

Tooth area. Im unsure if the shaft itself is bent but one was the gear cover but the other im unsure of. I will post a picture today with screw thread gap. I think the layshaft stop is fractionally too far out so stops being able to tighten the slipper more. I was exhausted last night when i wrote this but its huge as even though we had these problems it was small and showed me what potential this layshaft gives. Very very good.

Zero shims behind the slipper so nothing can be done unless the layshaft is changed.

I thought the same about the slipper tension however ive tightend it all the way and the spring is fully compressed but by luck the tension is almost perfect as the diff can be moved and the slipper is doing what its supposed to do, but personally i would have liked a bit more.

Ive just done a full check and found the Losi 4.5 i used had the three silver bolts that hold the three sections together had come lose so is most probably the reason why my second spur ruined. First one was definitly the gear cover.

There are 2 mistakes I made. First, I shouldn't include the top bearing holder hole as it is not needed. The zxs needed it because there are no tensioner for the front belt . Second is that there is a extra crossbar that is not needed. So, don't need hole there as well.

But it does good great.
