Default Semi Live Day 2 - European Championships 2009

After some problems with electricity supply which halted proceedings and changed the race schedule around - the qualifying finally got underway late on the second day of the EFRA Euro Championships 2009.
Despite looking super quick, Lee Martin had some errors in the qualifying and could only manage 6th and 3rd - not BAD but being the fastest car on the track should hopefully come good for the UK driver soon.

Ellis Stafford took round one of qualifying with Hupo Honigl taking the second. With only the two rounds run and the third postponed until the following morning because of the earlier delays the overalls stood with Hupo on top and Tom Cockerill from the UK second overall with his XFactory team mate Ellis Stafford third.

Great pics/coverage as usual guys. If you get a chance, some close up pics and details about Hupos " Tamiya hopped up B4 " would be great

Got some closeups - will put them in the big gallery when I get chance. Hupo of course is using the Tamiya dampers and various hopups from Trishbits. I'm not really sure what other 'Tamiya' parts he has on his vehicle if any, but it sure looks nice.
