Default X10 vs X11

I am rather new in RC and driving a B4.
Looking and reading around, I learned about the predator and feel kinda in love with this rc-car

I found some details about the new X11 on the pred-site but sincere, what are the main differences and improvements of the X11 over the 'old" X10?

I have just gone to the Pred and am loving it there are many subtle differances from the X10 to the X11 you can change the X10 to nearly the x11. I think the main differance is at the front end with the revised rocker mount and you are able to ajust the anti squat on the car as well. The main man to talk to would be Graham North who is on this forum all the time and I am sure he will add to your question (and tell me if I am wong ) If you do get a pred enjoy it as it a fantastic piece of kit.

Hey Lowie
Firstly "northy" is the man to ask (as pointed out by S.M) he has/had them both at one point or another, as I recall.
Anyway, these are different cars completely, there are quite a lot of differences between the X10 & X11 but the new car stays loyal to the design of the original car. I can't say the X11 is better or worse than the X10 as I have yet to see it in the flesh, so to speak, but it seems to be a step in the right direction in my view.
To sum up : Ask "Northy".
cheers

Well as Northy's on His holidays then I'll step in...

The x-11 has many subtle changes over the x-10, non of which are revolutionary but they all make the X-11 faster...

The most important changes are:-

Rear adjustable anti-squat
Front adjustable Kick-up
Optional Front one way diff
Turnbuckles for the adjustment of camber (this was done using washers on previous models)
Larger hingpins for increased strength
'X' brace front gearbox top, super strong

I no that I've missed some off the list but you get the jist of it...

Hope that helps...

The only bits from that that actually make any difference on track and the adjustability to the front and rear lower pick ups. The fact that you can adjust them could help.

Other than that, there are changes for ease and for a little extra strength, none of this really alters anything on track - IMHO.

Hi there! i own an x10, and it is a superb car! its just a shame about some of the quality of the parts, for example, dodgey drilled holes on the front gear box top, not on all of them, but on some (ive had at least 2 or 3 of these ).

However! since team extreme have bought the car, more money has been spent on sorting these things out and making a better car all round, a nice new gearbox top, part of which is cnc aluminium (i think?) sorts out the dodgey holes.

There are loads of other nice features on the x11 aswell, such as proper hinge pins, a spur gear which fits correctly, new rockers, i could go on and on!

like franki said... try the-pred website, all the info on both cars is on there!

hope this helps!

Tom
