Nathan Waters - Ardent Setup shock oil help?
Hi I hope you guys can help!
I have got myself a 410 (1st 4wd offroad car!) and I am trying to follow Nathans Ardent setup as to start with I will be indoors for a while! He has shown the oils to be 400 CST in the front and 450CST in the rear What brand of oils does he use? As I normally run Much More oils and if I was to follow a CST rating for these oils they would be mega thin!! Thanks for your help guys |

I use much-more oils and run something around 400 and 450. They don't seem 'mega thin' to me?

The setup sheet reads in cst and if I continue to use Muchmore oils I would need to use 100 -150 to get to 400-450 cst so just a little confused

Hi,
The oil I use is the soon to be released Durango oil which is the same as Edit oil. How this compares to other oils measured in CST I am not quite sure but as a losi equivalent it would be around 35 front 37.5 rear. It was a bit of a strange setup though with the rear being particularly stiff due to a flat landing from a jump on the apex of a corner. Anywhere around 35 (400 CST) all round would normally be fine on carpet. Nathan Waters |

Maybe my setups have been way off! Or, maybe I need to switch oil to Durango so I know I'm not wrong! |
