Default DEX210: Full Metal Diff Spring Nuts?

Has anyone found a diff spring nut that fits the DEX210 and is entirely from metal?

The thing is, I need a lower profile diff nut (3.5-4mm instead of 5mm), but the kit diff spring nut is plastic at the side of the lugs, and at the inside is only 2-2.5mm of thread from a brass inserted nut. Modifying it at either side will probably compromise durability (a lot).

The measurements of the 210 diff spring nut are:

PS: Before anyone starts a rant about the quality of Durango's diffs, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ISSUES WITH THE STANDARD DIFF. It is for a custom built car - My driveshafts are positioned differently (deeper into the outdrive) and as such the standard parts don't work.

Have you tried to use a diff trust nut from an other brand, like from associated?

I don't know the measurements, but this looks like, that it have a deeper metal nut, so u can drill a metrik thread into it and grind it to the height you want!

Just a thought...?
