body shell question
ok wanting to know a few things about shells.
recently brought an sv pro and came with standard shell and what i believe to FTW shell. wanting to know what the difference between the two and what ones the best to run with. also i will be looking to get a new shell to be painted to match my other car so what would be the best shell to go for standard, FTW or will an sv2 shell fit and would one be better or is there realy not much difference between shell styles. thanks in advance for any help

Sv2 is longer than an sv and will need the sv2 motor plate and gear cover.

Yes you can run SV2 shell, just needs a little extra trimming around the front, and the SV2 motor plate and gear cover.

ok thanks for answering that as i like the proline bulldog shell for sv2 but is there any benefits from having a forward shell over the standard shells

Just for info - I was talking about the Schumacher SV2 shell - I wouldn't like to make the same assurance over the Proline one. It might well be ok, but I haven't tried one.
Generally Cab forward is more steering. Some people like it, some don't.

do you really feel the difference? there was a debate on this question on rctech and many drivers were saying it doesn't change a thing

the proline shell is about 5 mm narrower each side, so it actualy matches the narrower sv2 unlike the schumacher sv2 shell
