There could have been more british winners if we didnt get banned from the competition because of Liverpool. As for Ronaldo there hasnt been a talent like that for many years you think he is going to lose the ball every step but he still keeps going. Giggs will be the main man tonight as it may be his last chance at a euro final.

Great, some numpty had to bring up the ban, there was no need to bring such a touchy subject into the conversation, this was supposed to be a bit of fun

And as for tonight's game? Sorry, where was this best player in the world? Marked out of the game by Gattuso. Thank you and goodnight

You cant have a pop at Everton then sulk when he points how they didn't have a chance to win the big prize with probably their best team. Bit over sensitive there mi old mucka.

Man U tonight were poor. Looked tired an flat to me. If Milan play like that again though I'm afraid Liverpool will be relying on Carragher more than ever!

Kopite, would you have Ronaldo at Liverpool on your wing mate? Ronaldo with Gerrard just inside.....surely you'd like that?

footy banter is good, my best mates are Evertonians, but when it gets to referring about an event where many people died, i don't want anything to do with it.

but anyway.....

No to Ronaldo, no no no no infinity! man u should sell him for the 48 or so million they got offered by real madrid

I thought Liverpool deserved to win last night even though I'm a Chelsea supporter. Chelsea didn't take the game to Liverpool like a team that wanted to win, they looked happy to sit back and hope they scored another late goal. As for the penalty takers, good as Ranieri (?) is, their efforts were pathetic.
All that said and done I prefer the sound of a whinging scouser, after all thats what were used to, than a gloating one so come on AC Milan!!!!

Dont think he was bringing it up in an insensitive way. He didn't refer to it really, just pointed out that they missed a lot of years in Europe when they were at their best.

My best mates are scouse Evertonians, and they reckon it was around that time when the 'friendly' derby stopped being so friendly.

Anyway, lighter subject - you wont remember but we beat you 1 nil on the last game of the season to stay in the Premiership on year. Stopped you finishing in Euro Cup slot too I think as a result. We've gone from there to League 2!! Bugga!

Bit of an interesting fact for you reds out there. Ronaldo was at Liverpool for a trial before he went to Man U. They only wanted £4 million for him and Liverpool said no!! Shrewd bit of business by Houlier and Thompson eh!!

Numpty I havn't been called that for 20 years think I was in school As loose says I was not comenting on the night a horrible thing, just the ban that all teams had to suffer. I personaly think that is the side of football that would put me off ever watching again, I have been to old trafford when oposition fans start singing about the busby babes and other atrocities.

Did anyone hear about that helicopter crash carrying the chelsea fans?

Turns out it was run by Drogba Helicopter Co. Crash investigators say it just went down and rolled over several times for no reason at all.

Ill get my coat

Following the TV phone scams recently, Man Utd are suing UEFA for allowing them to enter a competition they had no chance of winning!!!!

And, Frank Lampard is a suspect for the robbery at Pepe Reina's house, that occurred whilst the Liverpool goalkeeper was helping his team get to the Champions League final, as the Police are unable to confirm (Fat) Frank's whereabouts between 7.45 & 10.30pm!

thanks a lot, you've been great...

What have Man Utd and a 3-pin plug got in common?

They're both bugger-all use in Europe.
