Hi,

I have installed V2.0 software off the website, but I cannot find the drivers for the USB connector.

The light on the USB adaptor does not go green. It stays red.

Am I doing something wrong?

Jack

Now I am not even getting a "New Hardware Device Connected" pop-up.

Still the red light on the USB Adaptor, but no apparant communication with the V2.0 software.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jack

Windows cannot access the specified drevice, path or file You may not have the appropriate permissions.

losi/drivers/Preinstaller.exe

If I click OK, it still installs, but I get no communication with the USB Adaptor.

I disabled AVG and ZoneAlarm and even downloaded the files again.

Help!!

You need to install the usb adaptor from the CD, the driver is on there. If you no longer get the new hardware popup then you need to go through device manager.

I think you may have to uninstall AVG. If you switch to avast it doesn't conflict.

Cass, when you updated your firmware, did you install or even load the CD first, and then install V2.0?

Or did you just download and install V2.0 and away you went?

Surely AVG doesn't need to be completely removed?

OK, so I uninstalled AVG and reloaded everything and I have got the V2.0 software and the latest firmware. Thank you all for the info about ditching AVG to get it working.

The problem I have now is that the Reverse function is not working at all.

Before the update it worked perfectly. No issues at all. But now even after calibrating it with the transmitter (just a basic Futaba system) the reverse function does not seem to want to work. Very very occasionaly it will go into reverse when the lever is pulled back, but probably only once in every 10-15 pulls on the lever.

When you pull the lever back the rad LED flashes on the ESC to show that it is recieveing a signal, and the blua and yellow is lit all the time to show that reverse mode is selected, it just doesn't want to go into reverse every time you pull back on the stick.

Please help, again.

Thanks in advance.

Jack

Just guessing here, but did you follow the upgrade instructions and send the reset through to the controller? Also you shouldn't install on top of a previous installation, you should remove that first. So no don't use the driver disk.

Got the software working OK. Had to get the USB drivers off the disk though. Did do a fresh install. Just think it got its knickers in a twist with AVG etc

All that works now.

However, if I upgrade to 128 I get no consistent reverse, but everything else works well. Tried callibrating with the transmitter over 10 times, and still no joy.

If I swap back to 125 firmware everything works fine again, like it did before. As soon as I go up to 128 I lose the reverse. Sometimes it comes on if you bang the stick back, but most of the time it just goes to brake.

I think it must be to do with the breaking modifications they made with this firmware, and it is like there is now not enough stick travel to get it to reverse. I don't know.

I am back running 125 for now while I'm bashing around, but the spike voltage cut-out is annoying.
