Default Cars shutting off mid race

I have had this happen to me twice now, once with my TC and once with my M-chassis.

Both cars run Hobbywing V3.1 with latest software and the only components used on both was a Sanwa Exzess X and transponder.

First time it happened was with the tc, it just shut off and when switched on again the rx was flashing like it was unbound. Reconnected battery and turned on and off a couple of times and it worked again and has done a couple of meetings since without fault.

Second time was last night with the m-chassis it just turned off while going flat out round a fast sweeper. Switched it back on again and works fine.

All batteries had plenty of juice, failsafe on radio de-activated, lipo and temperature cutoffs on escs de-activated.

I am a little stumped as to what it could be.
2 faulty escs or somehow the radio is doing it.

Anybody got any ideas?

Hi,

What servo are you using.

It could be a radio brownout. When servo is under-load it is drawing too much current and the receiver shuts off.

1S or 2S? If 1S are you running a voltage booster?

ESC or motor hitting temp cutoff?

ESC switch lead not shorting out on anything or itself?

Thanks for your input.

Pretty sure it is none of those things mentioned as they are different servos and escs in both cars.

Think I have narrowed it down to possible fault in the antenna of the radio.

Do you use banana/Corally connectors? this exact thing happened to me as the connector into the lipo became slightly loose, causing the car to temporarily lose power, but it wasn't loose enough to turn off completely.
