Default 4wd zx5 rb5 cut n shut

Got bored and pieced together a zx5 rear and rb5 front(old cars doing nothing) by milling the chassis at work.small amount of twist, wired up some old brushed 12x1 motor with gtx speedo ,going to play in the mam at kiddy and coventry to save my better car for the regionals next year.Has anyone else had this idea. Will try to make some sort of top deck to stiffen the chassis,if it makes me smile and laugh whilst racing it then it's worth a go.

I thought about that once, but not enough to actually try it. Which version of ZX5 did you use?
Any pics?

Maybe they are too big? You might need to reduce file size, or host with photobucket or something.

Looks good Jon.
See if you can't manage to get a video of it for us when you run it.

I did similar thing with a zx5 rear end / xxx front end.

I think it was moleman on here also did a similar car called with rb5 front and zx5 rear which you should be able to find with a bit of searching.

You'll need to play around with ballast to get the car to work, as the weight distribution will be too far forward.

Don't be afraid to add weight to the rear gearbox.

Depending on the weight of your lipo and electronics You will probably also need to add weight to correct the left to right balance of the car.
