Default Getting wires through motor connectors

Just a quick query this one.

How on earth do you get the wires from an ESC through the wholes in a brushless motor, the wires are way bigger than the holes.

This is my attempt so far, but I'm not happy with it and wondered on I could improve it.

I stripped back the plastic and tried twisting the cable and putting it into the holes, but as I push the cable into the hole some of the threads just clock up and don't go through.

U shud tin the wires first and the tabs. Then touch soldering iron (above 30W) melt the solder on the tab. And then the trick is the get the solder on the tinned wire the other side of the tab to melt and then it will just push in.

Cut your wires and try again.

I'd trim them down so they go through the holes. take of a few bits around the edge to make them smaller.

I've found once you get them through you can neatly cover the ends and form a lovely connection.
