Gravel/dirt racers
Anyone a 1/10 2WD gravel/dirt specialist?
If so,what's your weapon of choice with either a rear or centre mounted motor? What tyres do you favour for the same surface? Ta. |

For dirt rear motor will be easier/better.
Gravel is a very bad surface to run cars on. You will trash the car and it won't have any grip whatever tyres you put on it. For a prepared dirt track I'd start off with calibers or holeshots and ribs on the front... |

Clay = rear motor = B4.1

I'm not after a clay car,I'm after a dirt/fine gravel car.
But I'm picking up that a rear motor layout is the best for that . |

What do you want it for? Actual racing or bashing about mindlessly?

I don't bash mindlessly,I practice at a pretty usefull park/BMX track.
And why call bashers mindless? Did you race from the second you owned your first rc car? I doubt it,you'd bash "mindlessly"(as you put it) until you'd learnt to drive it and then you'd learn to race it. I used to race 4WD(Optima Mids)BITD,but now I have an old Mardave Cobra to play with and get into 2WD. Your information is noted and appreciated. Rear motor with calibers or Holeshots on the rear and ribs on the front. Thankyou. |
