Default Brushless Gear Ratios (X5)

I will be running 6.5 and 5.5 (in/outdoors), using the Peak/orion brushless motors, what grear ratios are you guys running these at?

I don't know about these motors, if you said Novak then id have some idea, but like brushed, each brand is different.

At a guess, start off with the 6.5 geared as you would for a 10 or 9 turn brushed, and the 5.5 a 9 or 8 turn brushed. Try it and check the heat and see how it feels - then adjust the gearing to suit.

Yesterday I ran my X-5 with an Orion 5.5 indoors (carpet and slippery bits) with 104/16 and a Losi 17t pulley and it was really fast.
