Rear Shock Position?
Can anyone help me out here?
Whats the idea regarding the position of the rear shocks? I'm talking mounted on the front or rear of the wishbone. Will it make any difference to the car handling? |

Depends on track conditions and layout, but always found in front of shock tower better.

rear shocks slow the whole movement of the car down and make it less agile, stick with front

Hi Coleman, i've asked the same question a few months ago...but didn't get any precise answer.
What i've noticed from my own testing and also after some races that rear shocks position is great for slippery-bumpy-dirt tracks. When you see setups, you notice that front shock position is more used for indoor-astro and high grip tracks. Hope this help. |
