Default 1/12th National Hot Rod

Hi

I would like to start racing again, but this time a lot cheaper.

I would like to race in 1/12 National Hot Rods as this seems like a 'controlled' formula.

I not raced or used 1s Lipos, so I am a bit stuck for choice of Speed Controller, Servo, Charger, Lipo to use.

I have an unused Code RC 2.4 Stick combo which I could use.

Is there a problem with the voltage as 1s cell being a lot lower to power the receiver, servo and transponder.

Any help would be great.

Many thanks

Matt.

HotRods are fun. They are what GT12 was intended to be but never was

You will just need a 1S esc. This will allow your servo and reciever to work properly. Most places limit the servo spec as well, so you will not really suffer from any brown outs. However if you do run a Savox I would use a power cap to help compensate for and unexpected dip in power.

Check you local club rules and see what they recommend.
