Default Futaba T3VCS Features

I've just got one of these second hand (smells of fuel). I've charged it up and tried to familiarise myself with all the features.

The timer function is easy to set and start with the first throw of the stick but I can't figure out how to trigger it to count the laps in the manual.

Does anyone here know how to do it?

To set timer for those who dont know:

menu 3, goto system, in disp-sel press up or down until timer is displayed, press end.

menu 3, dirc-cal, on button of choice (1-6) press + or - until timer is selected,

go back to main screen,

press up and down at same time, press your selected timer button 1-6

on alrm select time you want to count up or down,

on type select type, up timer or down timer,

once all selected, exit to main screen

just before race press up and down buttons together,

select your timer button 1-6

press + and - for 2 seconds you will hear a beep and time will flash,

as soon as you press forward timer will start,

press + and - again to reset timer

press + and - to ready timer again

to count laps you need an add on

I have done all that to get the timer to start on the throttle, but it has a 99 lap memory so I thought there must be a way to tell it the end of every lap?

you can do lap times but it is manual,

in racing timer screen select type as lap memory, press end

then goto menu 2

goto func-sw press select,

on sw1 keep pressing + or - until you get to lap sta, then press end

start timer as usual then every time car passes you press down on sw1 button (above steering stick)..

let me know if you got it

it looks like you need approx 4 seconds between each flip of sw1 switch, it would be a small track if could be done in 4 seconds, lol

then to view your lap times goto menu 1 and select lap-list

Cheers.

That was just what I was looking for. I should be able to flick the switch with my first finger down a straight.
