KF Ball Diff
Just had a bonus find in my box of bits, cane across the diff out my old mi2-ec which turns out to be a perfect fit in the KF.

SX3 diff works too, been using one for the past few months to great effect

I have been thinking about trying a ball diff in my KF, does it offer much advantage over a gear diff? I like the ease of maintenance on a gear diff.

The only issue with the Mi2 EC diff is that it will have alloy outdrives. I'd expect it to last at least a few laps in a KF before the driveshaft wedges itself through the coating!

Yea your'e probably right but they're sitting in my box not doing a lot so I'm going to give it a race or 2 with it to see how I get on and then look into getting something a bit more permanent rather than splashing out on something that turns out not to suit |

the SX3 diff cups are the same as the kf/k1 but you need to use the kf/k1 diff pulley to get the correct offset for the belt

At the kampenhout GP I went from a gear diff to a K1 ball diff and it accelerated and braked much better in the WET and I went 15 seconds faster with the ball diff
