Last motor was a Lexus V8 Soarer unlimited 300 and something bhp 176mph beast (which was achieved), but scared the hell out of me when it rained as it had zero traction control and it loved the back coming out in any gear so it had to go. Got an Audi TT now with only 250bhp but thats enough.

do the indicators work on that one mate? I've heard that a lot of beemers have problems with the indicators - either the stalk doesn't work or the lights themselves are difficult to illuminate.

it seems to affect a lot of models across the entire BMW range.

there's also a weird aerodynamic thing going on where they tend to be 'sucked' towards the car in front, often travelling just a few inches from their bumper. the X5 is particularly badly affected by this.

Ah, you see its a well known fact that you legally don't have to indicate with a BMW! Not well known but true lol BTW i've got a 330ci and i don't think i'll ever wear my indicators out.
Stranger than that, it says the same thing in the manual for the works Transit!

LOL, So true...

Seriously the BMW is a piece of crap IMHO, it has been in service a number of times from new for as BMW term "Quality Enhancements" also the ignition coils have gone 3 times in the last year...
