30 minutes later and you're still online!
Doors open at 6, with racing kicking off asap but usually around 7, so you've got a little time.

Bloody hell, the cars are so quick compared to what I used to have. The club is also run very differently to what I remember Teeside being like years and years ago. I found out i couldnt use a steering wheel TX, so had to buy one from the spares bloke (who made a fortune out of me!) Guys in the pits, awesome freindly guys, thanks for all the help.
I forgot my Glasses in the rush which cost me a bulkhead.

Now for my moan.

I told the officials that I was 'new' etc, they werent very helpful, I got told off twice, once for not putting a transponder back and once for not marshalling the next race. But no-one told me I had to do either of these things.
They also put me in the heat with all the best racers in, and it was very daunting, I just couldnt concentrate or enjoy myself, i was just so worried, and risked breaking the other racers cars (or marshalls legs).
I came there as I didnt want to go Bashing, it was 1.5 hours drive each way, and I came so disheartened, I retired.
I am told, the sport doesnt have as many new competitors coming back, no wonder.

Before people start moaning, im not pointing fingers, just saying that if clubs want new members, they need to feel to be made welcome, and not daunted. Really really sad and dis-heartened
