mardave wheels v contacts help pls
Hi lads for the last few weeks i have been running med soft pink rear and 38s fronts, does anybody no the same wheels in the contact tyres, My son once tried 50/38 i think and it was tipping all over, any thoughts..
only asking as the bearing fit much better in the contact wheels and wpin more freely where as the 6 spoke wheels ( diff type ) they seam to be tight on the bearings and not as free to spin on the axel... HTH Paul |

Mardave wheels on the diff axle (diff side only) almost always need to be reamed out to 5mm. Every wheel I have ever bought from Mardave was too tight on this axle and screws up the diff action. Handling is transformed once that wheel is bored out to the correct size - and the M3 nyloc nut must not be done up tight.
