ezrun will fit (you can put it on its side), but how will you use it?

If you're going to run 1s lipo's, it won't work as expected. There's just no punch and speed.

an EZ-run will work on LiPo (according to the blurb & the instructions that come in the box with it at least) & i've run a touring car on LiPo's with one fitted, how they perform in a 12th car on LiPo of course i can't comment as i don't know, but they perform well enough when plumbed into 4-cell NIMH's.

Default ez run

i help run a 1/12 th club in birtley
and we all run ezrun esc as they are cheap and reliable
we find the a 12 turn motor combo works well with 4.8v nimh
and a 9 turn motor combo works well with 1 cell lipo
the preformance on both can be compared with a 19 turn brushed
hope this helps

also they fit in most cars on their side but most of us have removed the fan and never had a problem with overheating

in the instructions it does also say if running over 7.2v you should remove/change the fan as the one fitted is rated i think as a 5v fan & will happily run on 7.2, but of course touring car LiPo's are usually 7.4v so it's highly likely the fan will burn out & believe me, the fans do splutter & die if running 7.4v LiPo's on them.

You can use 2cell lipo on the ez-run with the std fan its 8.4v or 3 cell lipo or higher that can ruin the fan.

We have been racing them for well over a year in our tc's at our club and they have never let anyone down. (not like novaks which seem to go bang at an alarming rate).
