that was fun, we passed each other about 3 times in the first lap. we didn't connect though.

i had to do that at the beginning though, cos Mossy was having a go at my ass (we all know how he loves a bit of that )

but is a penalty against the offending driver EVER going to be any reward to the injured party?

no, not at all. but penalties against the offending driver may make them think twice about doing it again.

I see what your saying, but I was refering to your point about when you said how does the person letting you pass them back help the driver that was taken out.

No not wrong at all Stan, I agree but if I ever make an 'A' final then I think I would have to change my driving style depending on who was behind or in front of me. All we all want is a law that is applicable to everyone and not let certain people get away with things.

We have all seen certain driving and thought 'that was a bit naughty' and what we need if to have a good level of driving.

BECAUSE IN QUALIFYING WE RACE AGAINST THE CLOCK (some drivers should remember this) - BUT FINALS WE RACE FOR PLACES

To all those complaining about penalties .
We as referees do to take into account alot of other issues when watching any race, Qualifing or Finals. at the moment we are not able to keep in touch with each other during a race due to Radio problems [ should be sorted for Oswestry]. The incident some of you have mentioned was seen and discussed at some length later. After Adams crap day I was witnessed a blatant back end shunt that the offending driver should have been penalised for [ We do not Ref our sons races ]. We expect as National F1 / F2 drivers you should have a reasonable driving standard others below that are given a greater error of judgement.
Yes I have given penalties to A finalist Jamie Booth was one who stands out in my mind, This weekend our first time finalist was also given a warning for his marshalling. I could go on, but is upto you as drivers to get the respect you think you deserve.

Ok something a little more positive, the meeting ran like clockwork from what i saw, im sure the Kiddiminster/Brca team worked hard but were totally in control and it showed

It was my first national weekend and although not qualifying as high as i wanted, i still had a good time and thats what its all about.

I think the trackside scoreboard is an excellent feature, i had seen these previously when i raced on road at a couple of venues and it adds some valuable information. It gets a thumbs up from me, it would be good to see what everyone else thought about it.

i really liked it!! thumbs up IMO

although Nick Oliver was confusing me by saying it was really good seeing what place you were in when you were racing. Dude, that was some seriously impressive multi-tasking

yeah it was a good weekend - shame about the weather though, at least the comedy cheering livened things up a little.

From an 'outsiders' point of view, I thought that fact that you could hear the PA system so clearly in the pits was very good. Meant that whilst sipping tea in Harris' tent I could hear what heat was on.

Really enjoyed Kiddy as a spectator. you '10th' lads put on a hell of a show for the viewers

When you going to come and do some proper outside racing? There is a 2wd regional on at Kiddy on Sunday 4th May, so get your arse down there.

See you Friday bud.

I was amazed how close it was, on sunday in 2wd gregg williams and myself were seperated by 4/10ths in one round, but we ended up having 3 people between us. That is impressive

I shall put results up tonight, but it was Lee Martin (AE B44), Simon Moss (CAT SX) & Tom Yardy (HB D4) - top three.

It was the same with me and ian southwell in one of the rounds on sunday. I think their was about 6/10's or something like that between us then when i looked on the overall standings there was about 6 drivers inbetween us.
