Despite having a rubbish result in the finals I had a great day :-) Good close racing during the qualifiers and finals to. Short course racing is definatly the place to be

Running a brand new truck added some pressure so i feel your pain Rob... the tighter track sections didn't favour mid motor config either so made it a real challenge.

Was a top meeting, big thanks to Tony, Sue, Adam and the Holbeach crew for a great days racing, you get my vote for another SCT round next year

Congrats to Wardy for a podium finish on first National outing with his new truck

Default Holbeach

I'll second that Rob, short course is still good close racing but definitely more of a chilled out atmosphere, can't wait for the season finale !

Were you racing the TLR 22 sct?
Do you reckon going to rear motor for last round?
Wondered if anyone was racing the TLR 22sct at last round and what setup to go for?

Hi Gav,

The 22SCT will be kept as a mid motor truck,

It was still as competitive as my rear motor truck but was no major advantage on Sunday's track, which was technical with more tight sections than open and flowing where the mid motor config is better.

for a first outing i am very happy with it, made some minor set-up tweaks during the day which improved it each time.

I'll PM you my final set-up and some ideas to try.

Will be doing some testing at A1 before the SCT National so will keep you informed.

The Car was great, little bit more steering and it would have been perfect. It wasn't too far off ultimate pace either so I reckon with a few more tweaks it will be about there. Managed three twelve lap runs and they would have probably all been twelve lap runs if it hadn't been for mechanical failiure and loose wheelnuts

P.s. race the truck at A1 last night and it was awesome. Did the same amount of laps that I did with my 2wd buggy at the regional in the first round, and I am sure I improved on that time in the following two rounds as well. Definatley like mid motor round A1

Sorry to hear that, Gav.

Hopefully you can make it to A1 then.
