Default ideas:need a company who can make a custom motor remote unit?

hey all,

bit of a long shot but posting on here to help a friend and is sorta related....
he produce DSLR kit and wants to create like a remote camera mount thats either motion or controlled via controller.

idea being so that you can create a time laspe but have the camera move via a remote or set programmed sequences via a unit that helps it rotate.

somthing like this really....http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...e-lapse-device

any list of people who may be able to make such a thing post away...

liam

Sounds like good stuff, a step up from this I just love the idea . But with remote control, possibly in two directions. I am looking for a simple light dslr mounting for tracking stars, more precise control, camera taking long exposure shots of the same square of sky (not time laspe), but sometimes just star trails with a bit of controlled panning (time lapse). Astrotrac and some of the smaller telescope mounts do it, something hand luggage size and very cheap tho for me.

Edit; looking at the telescope mounts again, the merlin type are very popular with the timelapse folk, fitted with a bluetooth plugin control is then from a laptop, phone or pad. Have also seen the start of apps to control mounts and camera, interesting.
