Default Sx2 outdrives?

Hey guys,

I was looking for some replacement outdrives on the Schumacher website, part U3336 and U3337.. They are no longer listed

Anyone know if the sx3 parts would work?

Seems strange that the SX2 parts aren't available anymore? Its not that old!

Cheers,

Dave

They are interchangeable so SX, SX2 or SX3 outdrives will all swap with each other.

No they won`t SX3 outdrives require all the other SX3 diff parts:
Washers bearings and pulley.

I'm sure you'll find some around - if no where else then i'd be surprised if there wasn't any on ebay. I know I have some of the original lighter SX ones, but not sure if I have any later ones.

No, the whole diff (and importantly plates) are smaller.

ok so wat do I now lol. it cant be done . verry simple as the diff puly itself issent the problem bud the side plates on the pully are . now it works the same as the normall pullys so you click them on on the outside . the old pullys they are clickt on on the inside of the dif so they will hit the outdrives and for all the rest biside that it would work no problem . bud as outdrives and the pully are the main cost of the diff i would say sorry bud get a compleet new sx3 diff . hope this helps .

My apologies for the wrong info.
I dont know what happened but I was able to swap my old diffs from the SX2 into my SX3 when I bought it. Seemed to fit no problems.

Rudolf - they look like the SX/SX2 ones which the guys are saying dont fit (and I believe them!!) so be careful buying those ones. I dont think they'll work in the SX3?

The whole diff fits without problem but the parts won`t interchange

Thanks guys, I phoned Schumacher and they said the complete diff is the only option (except for ebay that is)

I guess the SX3 diff isn't a bad way to go (even if I can get the parts from ebay or 2nd hand) - at least those parts should be available for longer...
