Default Understeer on my new Cougar on Carpet.

Hi,

I have just started back racing this week after a long break and have spent some time trying to get the car set right. I am running a Cougar with staggered rib front tyres but seem to be suffering with more understeer than most. I just can't change direction quick enough. It may well be just my driving but I am trying to do different things to stop it. I am not running foam inserts. Do I need them? The car is running 1 degree camber, zero toe in/out, 30/35 weight oil front/rear. It probably is my driving but I have tried various things to stop it. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Tommy

What servo are you running? Are all your endpoints etc set correctly?

weight in front, 5 degree blocks, shorter front camber link, 3 deg. toe in block. all that will help you. Have you checked your front end toe in/out?
