not bragging
if you read my other post you'll see i was asking questions so i could see what was the best route to send him but OK here goes
OK first check the pulley fences are on the right way around
then check make sure both pulleys are aligned rite
the main reason they twist is pulling the belt over the pulley to get the belt on instead of taking a pulley of
also check make sure the belt have no fraid edges as snapped reinforcing material will make them twist also,

cant see anything overly obvious, pulley fenced are on right although the wires look a little close to were the belts run may be see if you can move em away Little more just encase, if you get a belt that is showing a few threads at the side be very carefully how you do it but i would use the edge of a small screwdriver and coat that edge with super glue very very lightly to seal it up,

It's the wires, there's even evidence marks where they are rubbing. Rewire your speedo and reroute the wires, job done.

Guys.... Pls lets all stop being drama queens.

Even with the pics it is hard to see

The belts are not directional

Can you pls take a ruler and put it up against tje belt ans see if the thing is straight and look for slight twists

Then use the same ruler and see if the pullys alighn up...... If it is scew in any way your spacing is out or the pully is in the wrong place.

Can you do that and report back pls

Cjeers

Looks like you run the wires through the mid belt. Should try to run them under instead also was the mid belt tension right, may want to take out some shims so the bearing can push down the belt further.

Hi mate, hope you get this sorted, I know it was causing you a nightmare on Friday, hard to tell from the pics and without a belt on but it looks like the tensioning pulley is further outboard than the geared pulleys, have you tried sticking a ruler over the top of it to see if they all line up? Could be slipping off the side of the tensioner and flipping it?
