Default Absima Thrust A10

I've just got hold of one of these ESCs with matching motor. The system works ok, but when the throttle is released there is a braking action and the motor stops dead, when in a car this resulting quite an alarming crack and I'm a bit concerned its not good for the gearboxes. I'd like to remove this braking function if I can (note: it doesn't happen when releasing throttle from reverse).

The v2 and ECO model have a "set" button built in to the power switch, but the one i have is the earlier version. I can't find anything that tells me how to reprogram, or even that its possible. Does anyone know ?

Its a really odd function, I can't see why you'd want it to brake on release of the throttle, Even if you were racing it'd be better to have it freewheel.
