Mike - it is the largest building (equestrian centre) as seen in satellite view, immediately to the West of the blue balloon on the BRCA map found here --> http://www.brca.org/?q=user/5090

From the R/about off from A1, it is, 1st Right, 2nd left and up the road on the West side of the building - parking all way up this driveway, and perhaps in a field across from the building, depending on numbers booked in.

Hope this helps.

If you have proof of posting, payment (paypal?), email etc I think you may be able to race.
Contact membership@brca.org or (after 7:00pm) 01884 840158 for news on your application

Batteries and motor, as long as your are on the BRCA homologation lists your OK

ESC as long as it fit's under the bodyshell you'll be OK

2.4ghz radio , no worries over crystal clashes for you or the race director

Weights
2wd 1474 grams
4wd 1588 grams

Rule 23.3 of the 2010 Off-Road Handbook states that:
The dimensions must conform to the following:-
Maximum length - 460mm inc. bumpers
Maximum width - 250mm at any point of suspension travel in a vertical plane.
Minimum weight - 1474grams for 2WD, 1588grams for 4WD complete and ready to race. The minimum weight(s) include fixed Personal Transponder but exclude Auto-powered (hand-out) Transponder.

http://www.brca.org/sites/default/fi...off%20road.pdf

Transponder
If you don't have a personnel transponder the club will issue with a handout transponder each time you go out to race. Hand it back after each race for the next heats to use though. Handout's have to clipped into the bodyshell or wing.

TYRES
2 pair of Schumacher Yellow mini spikes for front & rear with foam inserst will be enough. One set to race on which should get you through the day at this venue. You could also rotate the tyres between runs if you want to.

Default General Site Information - Equestrian Centre

Address
The Equestrian Centre, Nr Netherton Park, Stannington, NE61 6EF

Map – on BRCA website here at http://www.brca.org/?q=user/5090
Equestrian Centre Building is immediately to the West of the blue balloon marker on the BRCA Map, viewed in satellite mode.

Directions
From South

Leave A1 - Take the exit toward Bedlington/Hepscot & Equestrian Centre – note slip road may actually start well before Sat/Navs indicate
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit
At the 2nd Roundabout take the 1st exit which is straight on
Next - Take the 1st Right turn
Next - Take the 2nd Left turn into the Equestrian Centre entrance road

From North
Leave A1 - Take the exit toward Bedlington/Hepscot & Equestrian Centre – note slip road may actually start well before Sat/Navs indicate
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit
Next - Take the 1st Right turn
Next - Take the 2nd Left turn into the Equestrian Centre entrance road

Parking
Available along the entrance road and additional space in adjacent small grass field if numbers require it.

Camping
There is no camping or caravan overnight – as this is only a one day event.
Caravans can be parked in the field for the day if required.

Catering
It is intended to have a “burger van” for the day but this is proving troublesome and all drivers are therefore advised to bring their own picnic!

Morpeth and Bedlington are only 10/15 car/minutes away and has various food outlets including a Subway
Nearest KFC and McDonalds – approx 20 mins – Ashington
Char Masum – Indian Take Away - 5mins by car – 3 if you have a 3.5T brushless in it!

Personal BBQ
These can be used on site BUT ONLY if on raised fireproof position so that no grass or tarmac is marked in any way.

Rubbish – must be cleared away at the end of the day

I will try to reply on oople to any other question re the site.

Cheers

Yellow mini spikes are the best all round tires.

NO.

But if you've not been racing that long don't put a 4.5t motor in. Even the pro's don't use them for off-road.

2wd go for 8.5t or 9.5t
4wd go for 7.5t or 8.5t

geared correctly they'll be quick enough

What's your car, motor & esc?
Someone will post a pinion/spur combo that should be suitable

Not sure. But if you turn up on the day with unmounted foams & tyres someone will glue them up for you. Takes 15 mins tops even allowing for the superglue to set.

@ dexter24, just for you

RC, is a B4

ESC, in B4 is a Mamba Max (sensorless) spare ESC is an LRP AI reverse Pro (sensored)

Motor, Losi Exceliron 6.5T and LRP Eraser 9.5T brushless and a few brushed motors

Pinions, think ive got 19, 20, 21 and 23

Spur, dont know

Will order some mini spikes in yellow compound ? which inserts ?

Thanks for your help

Mamba Max because it's unsensored and prone to cogging the motor (motor stutter's when you want to drive slowly)

LRP AI reverse Pro (sensored) better but only just as it has a 8.5t motor limit. Wire it up with the LRP Eraser 9.5T brushless

Spur if it's kit will be 81. Would need something like a 26/27t pinion on it with smaller spur, say 72/74/76 to get somewere near the gearing for the motor. I did run a 10.5T on close to that but it was a while back now. Need a smaller spur as I don't think the 26/27 & 81 can be meshed as the motor won't go far enough back. Can check but it'll be Friday before I can.

The pre mounts will fit front and rear. But I've seen the pre mounted ones come off ..... best to glue them yourself.
