Well done all at TRCC, thought track looked pretty testing but a great effort considering the size of the hall & the resources available.
Well done to James in 4wd & obviously chuffed to bits with the 2wd result as well.

I enjoyed the track, it was a little tight in places. But it was still enjoyable to drive.

Re the marshalling issue, is it really that difficult to remember to marshall? Its the one of the first things your your told when you start racing, race then marshall, its not that difficult is it?

Will there be any results from this meeting or the championship posted anywhere?

Also i'm sure i saw a lad with a camera floating about taking photo's of the on track action, any picks of my cars? (blue and yellow losi's) Cheers

Ahhhh pic requests again, im really bad at this Tbh, i take hundreds of pics and i need to open every single one of them, resize and save again. I need to find somewhere i can host them via FTP.

Plus i didnt get to many car shots on Sunday, i feel really bad using flash as i know some people do get annoyed with it.

Josh, have a word with Stu, he once gave me some software for batch re-sizing.

Plus, why do you need flash? Jimmy and Stu don't use it

Awesome, i might just do that.

I use it because A) i like the results it gives and B) im not very good at panning. I probably could get away without it, i shall see next time.

Oh oh, and C) i paid £180 for the flash, i need to use it

Just to correct certain people who seem to have the wrong idea about this issue...

James didn't race his race and forget to marshall.... James got TQ for 4WD meaning he was marshalling the first final which was less than ten minutes after the last heat of the day.

As there was a quick turnaround heats - finals he missed marshalling. An honest mistake.

Not something which is drummed into you 20 years ago at club level etc etc...

Could happen to anyone really....

I have done it before, twice on the same day actually way back when I raced gay cars, they made me start from the back of the grid for both finals, luckily I still won which annoyed a few people, so it was well worth the extra effort

Yes, if he asks I won't turn him away, I don't think I ever have turned anyone away who's asked. 'A quiet baby doesn't get fed!!'
I've spoke to James in private, I have no beef with James.

Look forward to seeing you put yourself forward for refereeing at the next meeting.!

erm 'scuse me - just to clarify & set the record straight.
The rule is basicly that only those racing when race abandoned can re-start.
You were not racing - you agreed - no issue.
The other race, I did 'prove', to myself, by reading the bbk screen that all drivers crossed the line after the 5 min mark which was when it was called abandoned for a re-run. So they all got a re-run. I could not show that to you later when disputed as bbk deletes the orginal results to do the re-run, but as I said on the day, I read the screen correctly.
So there was no question, by the rule, as to whether you should be allowed to re-run or not. The only decision was whether to apply the rule or not. I decided to apply it as it is clearly in place to avoid a driver getting an advantage due to race abandonment.
This is a bit different to you or anyone else being late, or not marshalling, which I would probably just warn along with some attempted public embarrasment.
Thank you for not actualy disputing my decision, but to raise this incident in public and leave it a bit up in the air with the words you chose, doesn't do my reputation any good, hence this reply.
I'm glad you raced the final, got your points and can likely repeat your 07/08 championship win.
