Default UK MicroX 2010 @ Hereford - race report

The UK MicroX 2010 was held on Sunday the 8th August 2010 at the Hereford RC Club venue in Leominster, Hereford. Three classes were competing - 1/16th 2WD, 1/18th 4WD and the biggest class of all, the 1/16th 4WD.

Mark Stiles 2nd - Phil Sleigh 1st - Andy Jones 3rd

4WD 1/16th
Phil Sleigh driving the new Carisma GT14B took the overall TQ in the competitive 1/16th 4WD class with three of the four rounds of qualifying - turning the pole position into a win in fine style over reigning national champion Mark Stiles, with Andy Jones third.
---

Thomas Graham 2nd - Craig Harris 1st - Mark Williamson 3rd

2WD 1/16th
The 2WD 16th class was the only 2WD class on the day since lack of entries in the smaller 18th class meant it didn't feature. Gavin Stephenson took the first round but Craig Harris was soon in his stride and dominated the rest of qualifying - the final was much the same and Craig Harris took an easy victory.
---

Wes Myles 2nd - Keith Robertson 1st - Nicholas Snelgrove 3rd

4WD 1/18th

After a 4th in round one, Keith Robertson went on to dominate qualifying in the smallest class, the 4WD 18th scales. Using the new Associated RC18B2, Keith easily won the final.

Ace report Jimmy, really enjoyed reading it!

That new Carisma will get some more people into micro as you dont need to spend £££££ on a tricked up Shark

Really enjoyed the Shark that mr Harris kindly lent me - it was DIALLED. I do fancy one of those carisma things but it's all cash aint it and I fancy doing some 8th scale nonsense this year so I might have to see if I can squeeze the Xray into the 18th scale class
