What multi channel charger?

Hi guys

After the last 8 years of using my trusty Bantam BC6 to charge all and sundry, I need something a little more grunty.

I bash 1/8th with my Brushless converted LST2, and this runs on 4s, I have half a dozen 2s packs but they take forever to charge one at a time, and at only 5 amps, which is less than 1c for my packs. 2 of these packs are LiHV which I understand aren't being catered for adequately by my BC6.

Ideally I'd like a quad charger that can charge at say 7amps per channel, and also LiHV but I'd also consider a duo.

I'd like to know if if any of you have any knowledge of product line up to suit my needs. Many thanks in advance.

I have the duo 2100 and have found it a great addition for my requirements, but won't charge the current you are after so 2400 or 4400

One feature you may find useful if your charging a range of different batteries is that you have a battery memory setting where you can set your defaults for the various type of batteries you want to charge up.

They can also be used off of 12dc or 110/240V which is helpful for home and field charging.

Corally also do a nice range of different charging leads so you can avoid having to use a balance board.

I just bought a Corally Duo charger too. Seems to do all I need, quality seems very good and it comes in a case too so you can keep cables and a few batteries with the charger. Details and spec below:

I also have a Corally duo 2240, it's easy to use, well built and has all you need in features. The only downside is the lack of charge leads supplied, it's also not touch screen, which may put some off, but as my Orion pro touch screen stopped working - not me!

I not a big fan of touch screen anyway, as it can go wrong, as you know. What I would like to know, as I'm a bit of a dunce, is what 100 watts means to me. How does that translate to ampage?

I want to charge a 2s at nearly 7 amps. How does the wattage rating eqate? Many thanks

I would look at the charger specs rather than the total watts, for example the 2240 can charge 2 x 2s at up to 12 amp concurrently. The 2100 I believe 10 amp and 5 amp concurrently.

Check the team corally website it details it all for each charger in the range.
