after a couple of months runnung my x11, its now completely in bits for a winter clean and rebuild, i am going to replace the diff balls and plates, but have noticed i have bent the orange steering arms too, is there any thing else i should be looking for. witch is common for damage or cracks.

I would replace the ball ends and double check the balls for wear. These tend to become loose after some time, and replace the plastic bits on the drive shafts if you haven't done this already.
