Seriously though it's great to see so much choice in off road at the moment.

rubber band wing mounts
crash back
one way rollers on the drive shafts
wheel hub disks
sealed belts
all would be nice to see again
but god hope the shocks are better than they were

I think it's got rubber band wing mounts from looking at the pic, crashback arms again would save a few quid

4+2 battery layout means: never lipo in this car

maybe not but the car will be designed to have the weight of NiMh's where they are fitted

i know you can add ballast etc but with more & more narrower chassis appearing there is less & less space to put it

Nice to see so much interest in our new car...you don't know how hard it's been to keep some of the features/spec under raps!!!

Looking forward to releasing more info shortly to see some more reaction.

but it IS a disadvantage, sorry but you can buy lipos that have the same weight as NiMh (maxamps 6000 mAh saddle f.e.) and you have the comfort of
using one pack over a racing weekend or - together with brushless motors -
endless running time...

I know you guys are crazy over every british car, I just wanted to say
that for a firm that actually wants to make money with selling these cars
(not "just" enthusiasts) and that means selling them to "bashers" too,
it's surprising for me that they go for such an layout.

I will never buy this car if I cannot run lipos in it, it's simple as this.
(I cannot run the 6000 maxamps saddle in my Yok BXF, not enough
space between topdeck and chassis and that sucks...)

BUT I'm really hoping that the amount of new 4wd buggies will push
4wd electric offroad in Germany...

hey i'm not blindly patriotic at all (even tho my 4wd is a Pred )
i like any company that can build a good car & will take an interest in their products. i like cars that are a little different/innovative etc & would like to see what they can come up with
my comments about the Lipos are relevant to any car thats been designed with saddle packs in mind.
maybe when cars are designed purely for Lipo's & possibly even for a lighter lower weight limit then that will be the way to go but for most of the cars we have now the addition of ballast could be problematic & certainly isn't ideal!
i dunno where you'd add weight into a Pred! not really enough room as it is

i think ull find the 2x3 layout is to gain maximum balance in a small area
not aimed at fun but serious racers that will run any layout as long as it better faster

you didn't understand what I wrote... don't you know that the BX ist a saddle pack car? and I can put in saddle lipos...

But I don't want to argue with you, for me it's an disadvantage not to
be able to put lipos in it... if you think it's an advantage, that's fine.

still I'm eager to see pics of the car and I'm happy that there are so many new 4WD cars

some years ago there were hardly cars available

Schumacher know that they will sell 95% of their cars in the UK so it is in their interest to build for the uk market. Lipos are not legal here for another 12mths minimum and schumacher also distribute lipos now so im sure they could have some made to fit if they really wanted too

Don't assume anything!!! Have you seen it confirmed that it is 4+2 NiMh only and LiPo can't be fitted??

I'm not going to confirm any details either way, as like Chris has said details are being kept under wraps. Wait till things are announced, then all should become clear.

Anything is possible, there are people that have put stick pack LiPo's in xx4!!!
